Lumitoro woman - Amelia Earhart

by Jennifer Iannuzzi | April 26, 2014

"Charismatically elegant with an edge, she’s fearless and earns both respect and admiration."

Our second #LumitoroWoman is none other than Amelia Earhart, the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.

Author of two best-selling books about her flying experiences, Amelia was also an early supporter of equal rights for women. In 1937 at the age of 39, she tragically disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean during a circumnavigational flight of the globe. Her fascinating legacy continues to inspire generations of women.

Which inspirational woman do you envision when you look at the collection?
